Kat Chapman Music

Kat Chapman (formerly known as Katrin) plays beautiful guitar music, often with alternate tunings, Sings like an Angel, writes great songs and is a long-time family friend.  This multi-talented instrumentalist and recording artist worked with me on my "Spirit Nation" cd, and in many other performance venues. We are delighted to present her work here for you to enjoy.
Her rich soulful vocal style is a delight to hear and she has received several excelent reviews:

Career highlights include opening for musical greats Boz Scaggs, Chris Isaak, Joan Armatrading, Huey Lewis and The News, and John Mayall, plus touring through Europe multiple times, including the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland.
Her  “Frail to Fearless” cd was created at Dreamland in West Hurley NY. Famed drummer and producer Jerry Marotta (Peter Gabriel, Indigo Girls, Sarah McLaughlin) brought in some notable musicians for the project including Tony Levin (Peter Gabriel, King Crimson) and Lovin’ Spoonful’s John Sebastian among others.
With her solo acoustic guitar in hand, and other times with the Kat Chapman Band, she has toured in the U.S. and across Europe. Kat has created four original full-length albums. Her songs have been featured in a Lifetime movie, indie films and documentaries.

A truly dedicated musician, Kat lives in the Boston area. She is a lover of animals and nature and enjoys playing with, and sharing her love of music and art with her two young daughters.
